Community Greenhouse Foundation becomes EPA WasteWise Program Endorser

July 24, 2008 - Orlando, Florida - The Community Greenhouse Foundation has been designated as an EPA WasteWise Program Endorser which is setting a standard for environmental leadership and playing a pivotal role in conserving our natural resources and preventing pollution.

WasteWise is an EPA program through which organizations eliminate costly municipal solid waste and select industrial wastes, benefiting their bottom line and the environment. WasteWise is a flexible program that allows partners to design their own waste reduction programs tailored to their needs. As a program endorser, The Community Greenhouse Foundation can assist and provide resources to help organizations evaluate their current solid waste practices and recommend ways to reduce their impact on the environment and help their bottom line.

"The combination of resources and tools we have through partnerships with the EPA, WasteWise program and the Department of Energy's "Energy Star" program positions us to fulfill and deliver our mission to communities across the country" said Community Greenhouse Foundation CEO, Richard Evans.

Mr. Evans added “with the addition of our “Greening America Business Challenge Program” and Sustainable Green Business Certification, we believe a real impact can be made toward conservation, environmental issues and moving the country towards overall “green sustainable living”. If we follow our mission of “Facilitating Green America, One Community at a Time”, a difference can be made.
