Green America Business Challenge
The Community Greenhouse Foundation has developed the Green America Business Challenge to a company’s current programs, practices and product along with their willingness to commit to incorporating programs, products and practices that can be quantified by third party assessment tools. Utilizing federal resources and tools from the EPA, WaterWise program and DOE, EnergyStar program this program facilitates and provides assistance to companies to make an impact on their bottom line while helping to achieve national goals collectively as a group.

Sustainable Green Business Certification
The Community Greenhouse Foundation has developed the “Sustainable Green Business” Certification program and standards geared to small and medium business which is tied to a company’s current programs, practices and product along with their willingness to commit to incorporating programs, products and practices that can be quantified by third party assessment tools. Certified companies are having impacts on our natural resources now and should be recognized. The “SGB” certification shows to the public that the company has accepted the challenge to not only practice Green Sustainable practices in their business, but is taking a leadership role in the communities and regions in which they operate. One of the main criteria of the program is the on-going monitoring and commitment to reach attainable goals that can be measured each year.

Smart Growth Integration Planning Series
We want to help your community think greener. As a service and in connection with projects and developments, we hold workshops and seminars, community meetings and educational transfer to the public. We serve in a community relations role, informing the public or as a critical link between the developer and groups opposing development for enviromental concerns, helping to create new projects that live with the community with minimal impact, not in contrast to it.
